I love Max Lucado!
It is an excellent book and it explains some things that I probably knew, but never thought about. I would recommend this book for anyone. I have read other religious books trying to explain the reasoning of God but this one being so short.The story could be applied to many situations today, not just family relationships, but also to life in general, This book is for anyone, Christian or not, who know they have been dwelling in the negatives of their life. Max's approach is practical and very helpful.
I find this encourages me that if I will just keep striving to put God first and do repent then He will always be willing to meet me and forgive me, it also gives a wonderful presentation of the gospel.
Highly recommended, buy it. you won't regret.
